Assistant Quantity Surveyor

 

An Assistant Quantity Surveyor is required to join a dynamic team working for a Groundworks subcontractor based in West London. You will be provided with training and guidance by senior members of the business, and will gain valuable experience.

 

Job Details:

You will be working alongside the Quantity Surveying team on a daily basis. The position is available full time during the summer months and part time (1-2 days a week) when the successful applicant returns to study.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

You will assist in the following duties as Assistant Quantity Surveyor:

• Ordering of materials and plant for site.

• Handling post tender qualification documents & procedures.

• Preparation of recommendations for award of contractor packages.

• Producing Bills of Quantities & measuring drawings for tendering works.

 

Qualifications/Educational Requirements:

Currently participating in a construction related programme. Full training and ongoing guidance will be given.
